To assist with its fundraising efforts, the FIRST EVER fullback for the Qld Maroons, Colin Scott, has donated this treasured piece of NRL Memorabilia from his personal collection to the club. You will not find an identical item elsewhere, IT IS PRICELESS.
This authentic piece captures the FIRST EVER State of Origin match between QLD and NSW, played at Lang Park on 8 July 1980, under the rules by which a player would represent his "state of origin", i.e. the state in which he was born or in which he started playing registered first grade rugby league football.
Framed and titled "The Legend Begins" this piece has the official team photos of both QLD and NSW and are signed respectively by NRL greats: QLD Fullback - Colin Scott & NSW Fullback - Graham Eadie. The teams pictured include the game greatest players of all time:
