RULES OF THE GAME

Modified Rules for the safety of our Juniors

JUNIOR LEAGUE LAWS (U/6 TO U/12)

INTERNATIONAL LAWS (AGE 13+)

These Laws are relevant to South Darwin Rugby League Juniors from U/6 years to U/12 years, inclusive. These are a modified form of the game from the International Laws (for ages 13 years and above).

SDRL Juniors play a set of Laws which relects their various stages of development; these matches are also played under the National Safeplay Code (for all players 15 years and younger) which prioritises safety and good conduct within the game.

Junior International (13-18) and Senior(19+) competitions both play under the International Laws of the game.

Matches in Under 13 - Under 15 age groups are also played under the National Safeplay Code (for all players 15 years and under) to emphasize safety and good conduct within the game by creating the best possible on-field environment as well as actively controlling undesirable actions.
